Just finished reading Meera Nair's collection of short stories Video. It's a well-written but strange collection of narratives. Stories set in India dealing with relationships within families, love relationships. Bathrooms are a recurring motif in 2 of the stories. The opening story, Video, was most striking.

Picked up a bunch of writings on photo theory and need to delve into this reading material.

Also trying to get my head around "public art", i.e. what is it exactly? How does it differ from other sorts of art? What are the issues encountered in making it?
