The opening reception for a group exhibition of paintings, drawings, and ceramics will feature poetry readings and new music performances inspired by the theme of the Japanese legend "Tanabata" and Star Festival. Performances and
readings begin at 8 p.m. In the tradition of the Tanabata Celebration, guests can write wishes and hang them on trees in the garden The event is free; wishes are $1.
