We finally made it to the Garden and Cosmos show at the SAAM and it was totally worth it. The exhibition is of 18th and 19th century watercolor paintings of Jodhpur royalty and also encompasses metaphysical paintings of chakra maps, yantras, and deities. Though many of the paintings are relatively large, the richness of imagery, narrative, and detail draw the viewer into an intimate relationship with these paintings.
