I was in residence in 2006 at the Taipei Artist Village with this artist. Sejin was working on a couple of interesting video projects of nightlife in Taipei that included the documentation of night workers in the city. She'd come back to the village in the early morning hours and sleep much of the day. Some of her nighttime adventures included getting hassled by strange people - I admired her willingness to take risks for her work and to navigate a foreign city under less than ideal circumstances. Sejin is about to have a big solo show at the Brain Factory in Seoul. So if you live in Seoul (Jerry T.) go see the show, or learn about Sejin's work online.
