On the way home this morning, I walked down Keenan Street and passed a house where a hearse from the Giragosian Funeral Parler was parked with a gurney and several people out on the sidewalk.

Further up the street, the peaches on our neighbor's tree are ripe and ready for picking.

It's been a little crazy last few days going back and forth between the Back Bay and Watertown but I've been enjoying housesitting for my friend W. He has a beautiful condo with a roof top deck and a view of the entire city. At night the moonlight shines down into the master bedroom casting its light into the exact corner where a reading chair has been carefully placed. And off to the right, there is a perfect view of the John Hancock Observatory which casts its strange glow across the Boston skyline.
