The Foundation also houses a number of works by light artist Dan Flavin who was a close friend and associate of Judd. The light works are installed in a series of 6 U-shaped buildings (which were barracks). The viewer walks through an entrance at one end of the U and the installation is at the far end of the vertical room. Directly opposite from one installation down a long horizontal hall is another light piece which can only be accessed through entering the other end of the U.
