The new issue of Art in America has a great article on Wolfgang Laib's recent art-making activities, including a write-up by the curator (who organized Laib's last retrospective) on Laib's recent project to bring brahmins to the Mertz Foundation in Italy to stage authentic Vedic fire-making ceremonies as part of his art-making ritual.
