Does anyone out there know anything about copyright laws concerning television? Kort was watching some PBS program on the "real lives of chicken" and this farmer told a very interesting story about his little Japanese bantam hen that I would like to adapt into a children's story/picture book. Can this story (which I heard secondhand) be considered in the "public domain" and therefore fair game?
