Now officially in the season of "last month's rent". Have started gathering books and clothes into boxes. Putting items for sale on Craig's list. Sold Kort's desk to a Harvard grad student studying Chinese history this morning. On the way to his car, one of the drawers fell out, hit the ground, and cracked. I think he was too preoccupied to notice but Kort and I picked up the drawer and brushed the dirt off of it and I felt really sad. A perfectly good desk ruined.

Moving is stressful and expensive and time consuming and did I say stressful?
