books, books, books... the brookline booksmith is having a remainders sale with a surprising amount of Asian and Asian American lit. picked up Hunger by Lan Samantha Chang who teaches locally at Harvard. Also saw titles by Banana Yoshimoto, Nora Okja Keller and many others.

Just received Noah Eli Gordon's "The Frequencies" in the mail along with a Braincase chapbook of Sara Veglahn's work. Noah's book, published by Tougher Disguises in Oakland, is incredibly sexy and elegant in its design. The cover painting reminds of Jaspar Johns though it is much more contemporary. Nice job!
