Started reading Amy Tan's The Bonesetter's Daughter. Well, the timing of reading this book coincides with just about everything I have learned at my job about Alzheimer's Disease and what it does to people. It also makes me a little bit melancholy as I embark on this trip to Taiwan with my parents and travel into their pasts. All of this history could someday be lost. The question is how to preserve and honor it.
