Last night, K and I saw the Coen brothers' new film "Intolerable Cruelty" starring George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Clooney is hilarious in his role, as a jaded California divorce lawyer with an obsession with his teeth, who falls in love with the out-going, gold-digging wife of one of his clients. Clooney does the whole lovestruck thing well - in his newest offering, but I also couldn't help but think of his performance in "Solaris" which was a very different film but also utterly convincing in the character's vulnerability. A "sitting duck". Delightful.
